She instructed, before slipping towards the great tree itself. Its huge limbs swayed only slighty in the breeze, and the stars can be seen through the canopy of leaves. She peered at it for a moment before beginning to walk towqrds it. In seconds, she had clawed her way up the trunk of the tree and was sitting high above the clearing, gazing down at her clan fondly. ThunderClan was still as great as it used to be, not matter what the other cats said. Even though they let kittypets and loners into their clan, it didn't mean their clan blood was dirty, did it? Cats were cats, they all deserved to have a chancce to serve the noble clan of ThunderClan. [/ul]

Raccoonsock nodded, "Of course Wingedstar!" her voice sounding chipper then usual. This was her first gathering, on becoming deputy too at that. Her Eyes turned around, "This way ThunderClan!!" Her odd-pelted body guiding the way, as ThunderClan came and made it to the clearing. Her smile growing, as she sat down in front of her clan.
Cinnamonpelt was sitting a little behind Raccoonsock. His eyes gazing at Rainfall, then shaking his head and looking at the rest of the cats. He saw his leader climb up the tree as if she was being chased by something. He started laughing to himself, at the cats climbing trees like that. All he knew was that he could'nt wait until he could see the other clans, with the other cats.

[[Barkfur, Spiderpaw, Forestpaw, Cedarfrost, Darkpaw, Blackflower, Shadowcreeper, and Phantomshadow may post]]
Black paws thudded throught the grass of a small island. The black paw blong to wolf gray legs of a gray tom. Eyes of gloden liquid scaned through the trees of the island. His black nose sniffed the air. ThunderClan was already here, but no one else. He flicked his tail to the eight cats behind him to show they were free to explore the small island before the Gathering began. He showed bo emotion in his eyes as he walked toward a huge tree in the center of the island. The scent of the the ThunderClan leader hit his nose.
Wolfstar walked towars the tree. His walk slowly turned into a trot, and then into a full run. With a running start, he leaped on the trunk of the tree, digging his hard claws into the bark. He sat on the other side of the tree of where Wingedstar sat. He gave the white she-cat a small nod of greeting before sitting on a different branch. He knew this Gathering wasn't going to go well, and he was prepared for it.

Raccoonsock smiled at the few cats in ThunderClan that came. "I'd explore now, before the gathering starts" Her little nose crinkeling as she heard and smelled a small mouse nearby. She caught it, and gave it to another warrior that came, for she was'nt exactly hungry with the excitment.
Shadowcreeper silently padded after the rest of the cats. His gaze peering to ThunderClan, how they smelled like.. dirt. He did'nt really want to just walk around with nothing to do. He knew he should follow the cats to have some fun, but he just wanted to relax, before thebig gathering began.

He said softly. -ThunderClan- Her own silver pelt gleamed below Silverpelt. Her blue eyes stared as around as she followed her leader, Winged and the deputy Racoonsock. She glanced around looking at the cats of the other clans as nodded a greeting to them. "I love Gathering." Silvermoon said as she glanced back to her friend Foxclaw. She took in a nice breath of fresh air as she sat below. -Former ShadowClan- Her eyes narrowed as the cats appeared. She sat on the far side of the forest, with a clear view of the island. Her eyes did search for Barkfur as her tail lashed around. She could no longer be with the clans within the Gathering unless she was in a Clan. Well she left, but she still felt a small bit of pain and guilt. She had feelings for Barkfur and being a Medicine cat there, she couldn't fall in love. However she cared about her former Apprentice Spiderpaw and wished that she could still help with his training... Perhaps... she still could, but she had heard Wolfstar called off the raid because too many had opposed it. A wise choice, but I still can't go back... She thought as she slowly turned from watching the Gathering. It was best she was no where near the territories. [/ul]

ooc; *points* Lawl, I want a cool thing too! R i v e r C l a n // The she-cat cautiously stepped around the brush and brambles, despite how comfortable she felt on the island. Perhaps it was the fact that she knew that nothing good could come of this? There were four Clans in one spot -- and to her, that was three Clans too many. But no, that was not her issue. She wasn't afraid of what would happen tonight in that context, because she was loyal, and a graduated Warrior; something such as the threat of the other Clans being angered would have to be pretty awful to strike fear in her stubborn heart. No, it was always the little things that could do that to her. The strangest things, that could make her yowl like a kit and scamper off. So, what was her reason to be acting like such a sissy? It was her first Gathering since she became a full-out Deputy.
She feared that she would do something wrong. She feared that her temper would let loose, and she would start arguing at this spiritual occassion; and that she would anger StarClan. She was paranoid, but, it was natural. Completely, totally, undeniably natural. Right? It was perfectly okay to be nervous. Besides, she was a Deputy! Shadestar wouldn't have given her the title if he knew she couldn't control herself in even the most difficult and nerveracking situations.
&&
The Clan had been walking for only a short distance thus far. Their Territory wasn't much more than just off the coast of the island, so thankfully, it wasn't an ungodly long migration for them, like it may have been for some of the other Clans. And, speaking of the other Clans, their smells hung moistly above her head as she proceeded into the Gathering grounds; the air seemed thick with the dominant odor of the Leaders and their Deputies as well. Though they came from different areas, their scents were indifferent from that of Shadestar's and her own. However, the aura of power was also mixed with the smell of subordinates; like every Clan must have. They were probably exploring, while the representatives took their places on the massive tree's strong branches, where she too would soon sit, at the roots.
She stared longingly at the large tree, with its hard bark and flitting green leaves. Her eyes were literally dancing with awe and confusion, a rare site for the normally dull-eyed female. It was almost as if she had never seen the island before, like she had never known that there was a large tree there, where the authority sat, and acknowledged their chosen followers for that particular meeting. However, her once dreaming eyes hardened when she heard her Leader speak. Her head quickly snapped away from the large tree that she had once looked at through openings in the brush, or when there was a break in the foliage, and turned to now pay close mind to Shadestar as he gave her a command, though it was in a soft tone. "Carnivaleyes make sure everyone is here." She nodded to his words, and, after he proceeded toward the tree where Wingedstar and Wolfstar sat, she flicked her tail and took up the front of the line, and motioned the rest of the group to follow.
When she finally stepped out into the clearing itself, she halted and turned to look back at the others. "Everyone, please come forth for a headcount. Those that should be at this Gathering besides Shadestar, Sparrowfeather and myself are Starpaw, Silverbrook, Thunderclash, Dapplepaw, Firepaw and Patchpaw. That is four Apprentices and two Warriors. If everyone is here, you may explore before the Gathering begins."

[WindClan-Inkheart, Jakalstripe, Caramelpaw, Lightningpaw, Thunderpaw, Bloodpaw, Jetpaw, Briskpaw] A blue-gray tabby tom appeared out of the brush, with the eight cats that came trailing behind him. He was rather nervous for the gathering to begin, but before all of his worries began to gather in his head he took a deep breath and climbed to his place on the tree with the other leaders. He nodded his head in greetings and spoke a short apology for being late. He looked down, all the way to the bottom of the tree, where the deputies sat neatly in the roots; and the painfully obvious place where the WindClan Deputy should have been... But still, he tried to keep his head up and look as if nothing were wrong. But was that possible? *** Cedarfrost was walking in an odd way, with the most paranoid, awkward look anyone could possibly muster. And with that she sat, as far away from the other Clans as possible. Her bright green eyes looked even more stunning, if not a bit frightening, when they were plastered wide open with a mixture of fear and uncomfort. She didn't really like gatherings; and she didn't like any of the Clans much either...so she sat quietly off the the side, with her tail clamped around her body and her claws dug into the ground. She eventually stopped glancing across the clearing at all of the other cats and fixed her gaze on her leader, which calmed her down a little bit. After all, not all of the cats were from another Clan... *** Darkpaw had walked in with her usual attitude and a smug, I'm-so-much-better-than-you smile. With care she sat down in between a few ShadowClan cats, and peered over at the cats from the other Clans, searching for weaknesses. She swept her tail over her paws with grace and closed her eyes halfway, adding a sarcastic smile to her face to finish her look.

He meowed quietly to the closest cat, who was next to him. By the looks of it, they were a Medicine Cat Apprentice too. Maybe no one would bother to ask him about his mentor. He glanced sideways, as if expecting Wolfeye to leap from the trees gallantly. But she never came, of course. <> A dappled she cat slipped into the crowded clearing, looking incredibly uneasy about something. Uneasy about what? Well trying to commit suicide. Now she wasn't even sure she could look at any of her siblings. She felt distant from everyone, everything now. As though only her ghost was floating around. She seemed not to notice as cats bumped psat her. Dapplepaw felt guilt and remorse gripping her heart like a fisted hand. <> Beside her, Patchpaw was walking. He kept throing Dapplepaw uneaasy looks, as though she may return them with a reasurring smile. Patchpaw was afraid to leave his sister alone now, afraid she'd try something like this again. That would just be too much to handle for him and his siblings. Especially Specklpaw, who cared so dearly for her miserable sister. He stared blankly ahead now, as they decscended into the crowd. He'd like to tlak to some other apprentices, but he also had to keep an eye on his unstable sister. <> Jetpaw kept pace with his leader, eyes alit with excitement. His first gathering. His first gathering! It was so exciting, so very exciting. He looked backwards to Briskpaw and the other apprentices. "C'mon, let's go exploring!" He called, eyes wide with wonder. The island was small in reality, but in a young apprentices eyes, it was a world of new things. Everything, everything he wanted to see. He wanted to talk to cats in other clans...[/ul]

Her eyes scanned around as she crossed to the Island following her beloved leader. Her tail flicked around as she took notice of all of the Clans. Her paws touched it silently as she glanced up to her leader, Shadestar jumping up to meet the other leader. She smiled glancing back. "Starpaw?" She called quiet to her Apprentice. She padded forward toward the near by tree. Her eyes caught sight of the other Deputy's as well as her Clans own.
She nodded as Carnivaleye called her name. Sparrowfeather padded around the tree in which now, all the leaders were in. She glanced around for Rainfall, and Jakalstripe. She had meet Wolfeye on the way here learning she was no longer the Medicine Cat of the ShadowClan, but she never told Sparrowfeather why. She couldn't help but feel a little bad for Spiderpaw. However Wolfeye wanted her to give Spiderpaw a message. "Spiderpaw?" She called quiet. "May I speak to you for a moment?" The RiverClan Medicine lowered her head moving onto the far side of the Island away from the others. She wanted to tell Spiderpaw before the Gathering started.

_____________________________________________________________ Raccoonsock fell silent, as she noticed more cats coming. Her ears perked up, as she began to walk back torwards the big clearing. Her oddley colored pelt swaying in the breeze, as she looked up to the sky. It seemed cloudy, yet really warm. She felt a small raindrop stab her nose as it crashed down to earth. _____________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________ Caramelpaw tried to stay closer torwards Jakalstripe, not feeling safe with any other cats from anyother clans. Her amber/blue eyes staring blankly at all the other cats. She saw nasty ones, sweet, quiet, all types of cats came. This was here first gathering, so she had absolutley no clue on what was supposed to happen, or was going to. Do we fight? Her eyes shifted to a ShadowClanner and a ThunderClanner playing together. noo.. Then what exactly do we do? She felt some small raindrops fall lightley onto her pelt, as she shifted around, with an uncomfortable feeling. _____________________________________________________________
_____________________________________________________________ Shadowcreeper stayed still, as his eyes sighted a small creature lurking in the bushes. With one swipe of his paw, he had a white mouse stuck on his claws. He just layed it on the ground, leaving it for some other cat to find. Sitting down, while wiping his claw he watched the other cats. He liked it how even though we're from different clans, we can still be best friends and such. His bright blue eyes glowing out from the rest of his dark gray++black body. He was different, not a [pelt]difference. But more of a personality difference. How he was quiet, and did'nt think what other cats thought of him. No matter what he did, well also because he never really talked to any other cat, but uhhh... himself sometimes. _____________________________________________________________

Barkfur gave the Clan cats the necessary orders before turning to watch Wolfstar pounce into the tree. Waiting until his tail disappeared behind him and he looked away from his deputy, the tabby set out across the groups with a heavy heart. His paws brought him a fox-length from Spiderpaw who was sitting around the medicine cats and their apprentices. His breath caught in this throat. Wolfeye. Pulling his ears back, the deputy shook his head and continued on his way. He passed near the ThunderClan cats, fully aware of the decision ShadowClan had almost made against them. It panged at him like cold rain; he would have help lead the raid on the Clan cats. He would have had to, being deputy. But not just that. Though he knew it was wrong, the tom understood the strength of loyalty and pride.
His paws padded the ground, tail held low and lifeless. Oh Wolfeye. How I miss you. As the mummers and meows continued around him, the tabby found his place near the tree along with the other deputies; nodding to them as he sat. While it hadn't begun, he didn't feel much like making friends. In truth, he wanted nothing more than to crawl into his den and sleep. He just wished the Gathering would end in peace.

Foxclaw purred. Seated beside Silvermoon, the calico's eyes shone brightly in the moonlight. Her heart raced. Like her friend, she too loved gathering here. The smells, the sights, and the mews were exciting to the young warrior. She hadn't had the pleasure of attending many Gatherings, so this was a treat to her indeed. She had thought she'd be left at the camp, since Winged hadn't spoken to her before-hand. She had been ready to slink away into the den with her eyes peeking out as a sentinel until her Clan returned. When she heard her name called along with the others, her heart had jumped and caught in her mouth. Since she hadn't been called to the last two, this one was especially pleasing. With a sigh, she turned to Silvermoon and gave her friend a few licks on her ear and shoulder. "I'm just glad I get to be here with you." Humor played in her eyes as the warm Leaf-green breeze ruffled her coat.

She returned the licks to her friend as she noticed the Apprentices running around and exploring. -WindClan- Briskpaw gleamed over the side of the Island. His friend Jetpaw had asked him to go exploring with him. Of course the white tom wanted to. It was not only Jetpaws first Gathering, it was Briskpaws as well. He beamed as his leader, Zephyrstar jumped up to join the others. He glanced around at the other Appentices. He glanced back over the edge of a rock near the water. "Hey Jetpaw?" He mewed. "Why do you think RiverClan love the water so much?' He asked dipping a paw into the cool water. -Former ShadowClan- Wolfeye felt her heart ache as she glanced back toward the Island. She felt herself breath faster when she saw Barkfur. She had asked Sparrowfeather to give a message to Spiderpaw... About his lessons... She couldn't help, but smile as the Apprentices explored. She kept her distance, but she couldn't hear everything that they were saying... Oh Barkfur... She thought.[/ul]

Zephyrstar sighed, looking out at all the Clans, together, seeming happily amused for the moment. The apprentices were so young, and glowed with energy as they merrily played with other apprentices from other Clans. The warriors were muttering their curt, yet still seemingly polite welcomes to the others. Thinking about the warriors brought to mind how bitterly few of them were in WindClan. He winced and then took a quick look at the other leaders. Wolfstar seemed like himself, with an almost arrogant expression on his face. Wingedstar looked annoyed, most probably caused by Wolfstar. No surprise there. Shadestar seemed unattached, like he wasn't even completely there. And Zephyrstar himself was trying to look as if nothing were wrong, keeping his head up with a slight, pleasant smile on his face. Just keeping calm. It would all blow over soon. *** Darkpaw started to get a little jumpy and impatient. Shifting awkwardly she shook herself, and tried to sit quietly. After all, what cat in their right mind would approach her? But as she though about this, something kept catching her eye. She didn't know why, but something was turning her head, catching her attention. And when she finally allowed herself to look over, she discovered that the cat who was catching her eye was Spiderpaw. Something about him made her smile. Maybe... she thought to herself, Maybe I have feelings for him? the thought made her crazy, and she shook her head to clear it. I can't! I'd be too much for him to bear...and besides that, he's a medicine cat! Or, at least, he will be. With a sigh she shuffled her paws in the dirt. All of a sudden she didn't feel so great.

[[sorry I'm late]]
Tansypaw trotted behind Racoonsock in the line of Thunderclan cats. They crossed the bridge onto the Gathering Island and the young she cat felt a leap of joy when she realized that this was her first gathering. Everything was just as she had heard about- a full moon, a cloudless sky, the different clans, scents, and of course the gossip. As they reached the clearing, Tansypaw looked for her mentor, Rainfall but couldn't spot her. So, she made her way over to the Shadowclan medicine cat apprentice, Spiderpaw. "Hello Spider- Oh, I'm sorry." Tansypaw apologized when she realized she had interupted Sparrowfeather. The tortoiseshell looked at her paws and backed out respectfully.

Raccoonsock smiled once again at all the cats getting along. But something did'nt happen, she had a feeling that something bad would happen. She did'nt know what, but it was an eerie feeling, like somecat was going to get hurt. She wanted to talk to Wingedstar, but did'nt know if herself was even right about this, she just watched over some of the ThunderClan cats, before walking over to some bushes, and croutching down, to see if any prey was around.
Caramelpaw watched the WindClanners run around with cats from other clans. She looked down into the soft dirt below her, she took her claws and started making swirls that looked like water/wind. Just like how Jetpaw had done in front of her, she soon got bored, as she then looked back around her to stare in envy at the other clanners.
Cinnamonpelt walked around, his eyes staring at Rainfall, before shaking his head for almost tripping over Raccoonsock. "You know, you should'nt really be croutching like that when theres other cats around, I almost tripped."
Raccoonsock rolled her eyes, with her head under the bush, before coming out with some dirt sprinkled on top her head. "b]Oh I'm sorry Cinnamonpelt, I'll try being more careful next time." She replied back to him, with a fake smile. Sheesh, what a complainer.
