Name: Wolfstar
Gender: Tom
Age: 21 moons
Clan: ShadowClan
Position:Leader
Description/Picture:
Wolfstar has mainly a very light gray pelt. But, if you look closer, you will see the white and black hairs through out his fur. As the farther down you go on his legs, the light gray fur fades into white. His tail is just the opposite. The fur of his tail darkens from a light gray to black, and then suddenly ends in a white tip. He has a white spot on his chest the size of a chicken egg but in the shape of a star. His eyes are of liquid gold.
Wolfstar is a large tom. His mussels flex smoothly under his pelt when he walks. His head is a normal size, with the exception of his unusually large ears. His paws are larger then the average cat's as well. He is not slim and tall, as most fast cats are, but he is fast, which most cats wouldn't expect him to be, which gives him the element of surprise. His claws are about as long as any other cats, but they are thick and hard to break. His claws make scratches from him long and wide, but not too deep. His teeth are small, long and narrow, which leave small, but deep wounds.
First Glance: A handsome light gray tom with yellow eyes.
Personality: Wolfstar has a very complex personality.
His Good Side
Wolfstar cares for his Clan more then he lets on. Whether they know it or not, Wolfstar would die for his Clan and everything he believes in. He cares about every last member in his clan no matter how cruel he seems. He won't eat until everyone else is fed and satisfied. He does not show it, but he feels so proud when a kit is born and when it is made an apprentice then into a warrior. He grieves when a clan member dies or when a warrior joins the elders den. Deep down, he is a really good leader that thinks very highly of StarClan.
His Bad Side
Even though he is kind to his own clan, Wolfstar is merciless when it comes to other clans. If you are anywhere on his territory at ANY time but a Gathering, you will be killed without question. He refuses to tolerate trespassing and betrayal. If you dare to betray ShadowClan and Wolfstar, you choose death. He will only let you go home alive if you are a kit, but you will hear him mention it in a Gathering. He rarely holds prisoners, again, they are basically killed immediately. If he does hold prisoners, they are scratched and bit so they bleed to death eventually unless the cat's clan gives Wolfstar what he wants: land. Wolftar believes ShadowClan can't have enough land.
Everything Else About Wolfstar's Personality
Wolfstar has a very short temper when it comes to anything. he hardly trains apprentices because of this and because of his limited patience. His loyalty has never been questioned. When it comes to a battle, no mercy is shown from him. Its a fight to the death with Wolfstar and you will not escape with just a few scratches and bites. You'll be lucky to even be alive.
History:
Kit Hood
Wolfstar was a very curious kit. But as the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat. He and his litter mate, Swiftkit, had sneaked out of camp one day to go explore. What they found was deadly. Three, more then half way grown, foxes. Wolfkit had no clue how they didn't smell them, but they were there, looking at them with rage and hunger in their eyes. Wolfkit and Swiftkit had fled for their lives, yowling for help at the top of their lungs. Luckily, their mother, Birdsong, had been out looking for them. She flew to their side at the sound of their yowls, but by the time she got there, Swiftkit had been caught and killed. Birdsong fought to death to save her last kit as Wolfkit hid in a tree. With wide scared eyes he watched his brother and mother die before his eyes. That day changed him forever. He felt as if the world had turned on him. With his mother and brother dead, his heart turned cold. His father had died before he was born in a ThunderClan battle or so he was told.
Apprenticeship
Wolfpaw was apprenticed half a moon early due to that there were no other queens to look after him after the death of his mother. He was mentored by the leader himself, Darkstar. Through his apprenticeship, Wolfpaw began to watch Darkstar's every move. He became power hungry. He longed for the power his leader held his paw. He wanted to know everything his mentor could teach him. He wanted cats of the other clans to cringe in fright at the sight of his shadow alone. He would pick fights with the other apprentices and usually win just for fun. Darkstar noticed this in his apprentice and nurtured it every day. Soon, Wolfpaw went where ever Darkstar went. He was a quick learner and was a great fighter and a fair hunter.
Warrior Hood
Wolfpaw was made a warrior after Darkstar saw him kill a ThunderClan cat for passing the ShadowClan border. He was given the name Wolfheart. Wolfheart quickly became popular with other ShadowClan cats for his bravery an courage. Darkstar trusted him more then most cats. He was given many deputy responsibilities, like leading patrols almost every day, organizing and leading hunting patrols as well. Wolfheart was always put incharge of a ThunderClan raid when one was planned. he had promise in him. he was given the apprentice Steelpaw, who became a warrior several moons later and given the name Steelclaw. He said to the clan that Wolfheart was the best mentor the forest has ever seen, which many cats agreed with.
Deputy Hood
The old deputy, Rockclaw, retired early, due to bad hearing which almost caused his death at a border fight. Because he was popular with the Clan and his leader, Wolfheart was made deputy without a thought. To Wolfheart, the only new thing was he got to sit with the other deputies at Gatherings, for he had been incharge of almost all the deputy responsibilities. To Wolfheart, this ment that he was one step closer to his dream of being a leader. Being a deputy did not satisfy his want of power; it only increased it. For he knew alone that Darkstar was on his last life. It was only three moons before Darkstar died.
Leadership
Darkstar died in a fight against a badger. It had been him and Wolfheart on a hunt when it had attacked. The badger had fled after it had attacked Darkstar. Darkstar had told Wolfheart his dark secret before he died. He confessed that he was Wolfheart's father. Wolfheart was shocked by the news and tried to question him further before he died, but Darkstar died too soon. At Moonpool when Wolfheart was getting his nine lives, he tried to question Darkstar again, but he ignored his questions. Wolfheart was also puzzeled by the appearance a cat that he had never met at his Leader ceremony. He called himself Blackstar and gave no introduction on who he was or why he was there. Wolfheart was given the name Wolfstar. Wolfstar is a young leader but has already tried several times to take land off of the ther Clans. His hunger for power has been satisfied except for a little voice that keeps telling him he could take over all of the clans if he wanted to.
IC:
"Let all cats old enough to catch their won prey meet here, beneath High Branch!" yowled Wolfstar. The curious looks of his Clan mates looked up at him from below, looking at the way he looked so powerful with the moon and stars reflecting on his fur and in his eyes.
"The time has come to take what is ours! We have little territory and deserve more! This much land is hardly keeping us alive! We must expand our borders! We will attack ThunderClan at dawn! For they are weak with green cough while we are still strong enough to beat them and claim their land! We deserve more land! Who agrees with me?" Wolfstar paused to listen to his clan mates. All of them yowled excitedly in agreement. " I will take all but three warriors and two apprentices for this battle," yowled Wolfstar. At the word battle, the apprentices became so excited, thet began to run in circles. His words worked like a spell on them. All were excited about the battle and the promise of more land. "Good. As I said, we attack at dawn." He yowled, flicking his tail to show the meeting was over. He walked into his den for a quick nap. He listen to the excited mewing of his clanmates as he slipped into sleep
That night he had a dream, that changed his life. He was walking in a forest full of stars. He knew where he was for he had visited this forest before. He was in StarClan. Several fox lengthes away was the mysterious cat Blackstar. "You! Who are you?" demanded Wolfstar. "Me? I am Blackstar. I was leader of ShadowClan when the Great Journey was made." mewed Blackstar. "Okay. What do you want ith me?" said Wolfstar. Blackstar looked suprised. "Do you not know?" he asked Wolfstar. "Know what?" asked Wolfstar. A flash of suprise showed on Blackstar's face but quickly recovered. "Wolfstar, you and I, we are kin. You are my great, great, great, great, grandson. Your father is my kin as well. I have come to tell you that there are many great things in store for you. Some terrible, but great all the same. Now I must go. I wish you courage, strength, and bravery in battle tomarrow." "Wait! Don't go!" yowled Wolfstar after Blackstar, but the white cat just waved his tail in farewell.
Wolfstar woke up in his den. It was almost dawn and he would be in battle soon, but he he wondered if he could focus now, knowing this new piece of information.
