Poisonkit looked over at Shadestar through narrowed eyes. He tensed up slightly and nodded his slight thanks to Plaguedkit. She was the only sensible sister in the litter. He unsheathed his claws and climbed back onto the Smooth Stone, and watched the camp again. The camp was practically empty. Starpaw walked out into the camp, carrying a bundle of catnip. She had been out all Morning, collecting herbs. Firepaw was supposed to help her, but she forgot and went out hunting with some other apprentices. Starpaw didn't blame her, though; Being a Medicene Cat apprentice is more boring then being a regular apprentice. She got help from Silverbrook, though.

Sigh. Why did Shadestar always have to ruin everything? Whisperkit was already outside of camp digging holes. Her littermates hadn't bothered to help her, but that was okay. She could carry out her own plans just fine. Besides, she didn't need anyone to help her... they were all too egotistical anyway. Which was kind of ironic, because her ego was more than a little inflated. She watched the rest of her siblings get confronted by their leader. She watched Poisonkit climb up onto the rock. He thinks he's all that. But he's never behind anything. Never making plans. Just acting all high-and-mighty when he's really a worthless poser! Like some of my brothers and sisters, too, she thought, looking vehemently at the spot where Sorrowkit had just stood. Then she threw her sight back towards Shadestar. He wasn't doing much of anything. Was he a pushover, too? Whisperkit never really took the time to associate with the leader of RiverClan. Yes, she did plan to stay in this Clan, but the small she-cat never thought it really mattered to be on a leader's good side. Now she was seeing him in a new light. If she got on Shadestar's good side by acting innocent and sweet toward him and veiling her pranks from him... maybe he would like her and not punish her whenever she pulled a prank or did something bad or talked back to the elders. Of course, it would be hard, but she had done harder things, or so Whisperkit thought.
She shook the dirt off her paws, threw it off her nose, and quickly took a dip in the stream she was next to. When she came out, her grey and white fur was shining with all the radiance that hygeine can grant to a cat and, careful not to be seen, snuck in the back entrance of the nursery she had created herself. Nobody saw her entering the nursery -- it was a dark place, and most of the mothers were asleep with their kits by their side or out hunting or something. Whisperkit smiled. No one would ever know she had been there. As said previously, Whisperkit had covered up her holes already, and was just starting on another hole when their leader came and ruined it -- well, almost ruined -- it all. Now, if any of her brothers or sisters dared to give away what she had been doing, there would be no evidence. She would be right here in the nursery. Who was to say she hadn't been here the whole time? No one had seen her -- Whisperkit was a master at covering her tracks and, as usual, pushed it to the limit this time. Whisperkit was no ordinary kit who sat down and sobbed when they were in trouble. She made sure to carry out things swiftly and effeciently, working simply to get the job done. She was like an assassin. Or good material for one, anyway. Whisperkit looked boredly at the nursery walls. She had to do something. Maybe she'd bask in the sun outside the nursery or something. But no, it would be safer to remain here until they called her or came in looking for her. Settling down on an especially soft, dry, and thorn-free patch of moss (Whisperkit had made sure to ensure this and always pushed other kits out of the way when they were in "her" spot), Whisperkit laid down her head and closed her eyes. Of course, she didn't really go to sleep, but her slowed breathing and blissful face made her appear to be in a deep slumber and look as innocent as any other kit in the nursery, which was just what she wanted.
